Well hello there.

Week 1
Wednesday, July 24, 2013 @ 8:18 AM
Hey. This is my first ever entry. Not too sure how it works but here goes nothing. I am still getting the hang of it so i apologise if the pictures are all boring and unclear. So.... here goes nothing.

 Second day of school (Official)

Back to studying, siting in a classroom after eight months of long holidays which i put to good use of course. This was during one of the lessons, Creative Thinking. It really got me thinking hard though. As i think back about school, i wonder how i could socialise and make friends. I admit that at times, it's not easy to get friends. Especially when you feel paranoid thinking that everybody is going to judge you and such. Well, that was what i thought at first. But hey, don't everybody judge? Hard as it may to swallow, there's a little truth in it. Don't you think so? But all is well.

 Self Introduction

Being in a new class, new school, new environment, having ice breaker games tend to help you connect with a person. In a way or another. I never took such exercises seriously before. But i'm eighteen now, and introducing myself is of a good benefit. Also, first impression counts! I may look innocent and young but i can be silly at times. Well, i'm not always serious. I try to joke around and laugh at the littlest things. Happy go lucky? Nah, i'm not honestly but my charecteristics may say i'm one. As you read my blog, it's good to share with you a little something about myself. I'm also currently working part time in Starbucks Coffee at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Been 8 to 9 months since i've worked there, i guess i'm planning to work there long. I know it's hard coping between studies and work, but it's not that i need extra money or anything but, i really enjoy working with my partners. I love the Starbucks atmosphere where all of us, doesn't matter what race you are, we unite and click as one.

This is during one of the lectures that we had. Class may get a little boring and draggy though sometimes. Especially with the fact that you're fasting and yup, feeling all sleepy and dead. But i'm glad to be back in the classroom. It gets me to reflect sometimes about my life. How badly i want to graduate with a diploma, how i have this tinge feeling of wanting to pursue my degrees. And how i basically can't wait to grow up, well even bigger and enter my career life. Working in an industry where i can finally keep drawing and designing. Where i have passion and interest in.

The ride home. Almost passing by here every time. You know how signs are most important for traffic users. But funny how sometimes we tend to ignore and go against it. But having signs around are good as it get a lost person to a destination where they would want to go. It tells you where you are and you can like specify where you are at or how you want to go by. Funny how most times, things like this are taken for granted.

 Light

It guides me from darkness. It tells me that you know who i'm with and such. Imagine yourself walking down an aisle with no street lamps at all. All you see are darkness. And what or where does it bring you to? No where in specific. Darkness are often associated to devil and such. Because light shine brights like an angel. In life, you can choose the path you want to take. Where there is light, or where you can see pitch black, total darkness, or basically just nothing. It's your life, you choose.

I never own any laptops or whatever and i am actually excited to get one. Especially owning a macbook pro. So yay?!

Coffee lover? Frappucino lover?

If you are, then Starbucks is just for you. Many people always take cafes like Starbucks Coffee and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for granted. What i notice is, especially for students, they will hog on a table without caring or bothering about other's needs and sit there for hours. Studying and conquering like four tables to themselves. It's a norm to spot such action in a cafe. Worst still, they do not even buy any drinks nor food and instead get a free glass of iced water. A barista can tell them numerous times that studying is not allowed or that it is much more appropiate if they could just use one table but guess what, the barista gets a scolding from the customer in return. I guess, all baristas feel what i feel. Starbucks is having a promotion for Buy One Get One(BOGO) for our promotional drink. Which is the Dark mocha white chocolate pudding frappucino and the Green tea white chocolate pudding frappucino. Promotions like this really gets you thinking somehow. Singaporeans will always be singaporeans. Knowing that if they order a venti size, they get one venti size drink free, they tend to take up the offer. Who doesn't like freebies right? The baristas at the frappe area usually works alone or have an assistant to help. As i was the barista at frappe, having a lot of orders, it tends to make me work a lot quicker than usual. And allows me to work on a faster pace.

So never take your time for granted. Do something productive!
