I am in love with photography and videography. This was taken on the day that i got my first ever dslr. :D 

I love photography because i love how photographs can capture moments. Sweet and significant especially. Photographs are also a reminder to what we had done, who we're with and how we look like. Photographs allow us to look back in the past and look at how much we have changed. You know what they say about photographs? "People in the photo may change, but the memory still remains the same." I believe that everyone can become a photographer. Everyone can learn about photography. It is just the passion that drives you to success. And how you're inspired by the pictures you take. With passion, nothing can hinder you from doing what you love. 

As you know the first camera was invented in the 1820s. Worst still, all the pictures are in monochrome or also known as black and white. As colours do not seem to have existed back then. Even after colour film was made available, monochrome film seems to dominate for decades due to its lower cost and classic feel. I felt that black and white pictures have this nostalgic feel to it. Colour photo started in mid 19th century, while digital photography started in 1981. 

I have always been aspire to be a photographer cum videographer one day but i doubt my dream would come true. Initially i wanted to take film making in NAFA, but i do not have much exposure or background on it. Also, with this industry in Singapore, i won't be able to go far unless i own a degree or that i get hired by some top notch countries. But then, dreams do come true. It's a matter of believing and working hard. Like i said, if you enjoy something and that if you have passion in it, you will be successful in it with determination and hard work.
