Well hello there.

Week 3

Here is a photomontage done by a photographer, Fandy Razak. I am mesmerised by how he could shape his photo into this design and what drives him to do this. It is an interesting piece and i like the fact that he took the pictures from all different perspectives and combine them into one. Who would have thought of that for a wedding photo? Not me!

I just felt like this picture is deep. I like how the picture is indirectly telling us that if we avoid feeling pain and hurt, and that if we push it away. Every single time. Then till forever, we would not have the chance to feel that emotion. You know what i mean? Take love for example. If you are scared of getting hurt for the same reason again and you're afraid of falling in love, but you want to feel what it's like. Then it's never going to happen if you forever hide yourself or shun yourself away from it. True?

I felt like this is a great invention. The umbrella collects water and then it goes into the gun and you can squirt at others. If this invention were to be brought into Singapore, alot might like it but some might find it absurd and annoying. Imagine walking down the street halfway and someone starts shooting at you. It's a good way for you to interact with your fellow singaporeans and say hello to a stranger maybe? I know i would join in the fun!

Eating disorders comes in many shapes and forms. Just because a person doesn't look like they are affected on the outside, it does not mean that they are not battling on the inside.

Sometimes i remind myself that no matter how rough it may be, there is always a light to it. Like the malay saying goes, "Ada hikmah disebaliknya." Which basically means, that in all difficulties that you're facing, do not worry because good may come to you. Maybe it's true. Not every bad thing is going to end in a bad way right? Letting the positive vibes flow within me....
Travelling is one of the many things i would want to do. It gives me this joy and pleasure being able to see the world and experiencing different lifestyles. As a Muslim, it might be hard on me because i have to find for Halal certified foods and what not. And with the racism going around in America, i can't afford to go and have a splendid vacation when i ever put my headscarf on. If you understand what i mean. I have a few pals from America, and i asked them how they felt about 9/11. Well, i'm glad that they don't blame us, the normal muslims in the world because really, it isn't our fault. And i'm glad too that they did not judge me or pass a remark or even worst, avoid me. In fact, our friendship was close despite our differences in religion.

Religion. What is it all about? Buddhist? Hindu? Christian? Muslims? Well does it matter? Does it matter what race and what colour your skin is? Does it matter that he can eat pork while i can't? Does it matter that he has to for church service during the weekends while some of us don't? Does it really matter? You don't know who or what it may be, but you believe in it anyway. That's how it goes.
